§ Bio

ASHARE KINGSTON.

Ashare K leads client engagements at Award That Contract, where he helps small and mid-size businesses turn federal contracting from an intimidating maze into a repeatable revenue channel.

A longtime advisor to small business owners, Ashare built Award That Contract on a simple observation: the companies losing federal bids usually aren't less capable than the winners — they're less prepared. They chase the wrong opportunities, submit proposals that fail compliance before they're ever scored, and compete blind against firms that shaped the deal months before the RFP dropped.

Ashare's role is to close that gap. He works directly with clients on positioning, opportunity selection, and bid strategy, then brings in the firm's acquisition specialists — professionals with more than a decade of federal acquisition experience, including time on the government side of the table — to execute capture, proposals, and post-award compliance.

His standard for every engagement is honesty over optimism: if a client shouldn't bid, he'll say so. The 30-minute capture brief he offers every prospective client starts there — one live opportunity, reviewed straight, with a clear go or no-go.
